Currently I’m working on feature films and an adaptation of Ibsen's Master Builder (it’s Basic Instinct meets Persona meets Rosemary's Baby).

Whether sweating in the rain at Old Trafford for UEFA or cutting in a warm edit suite for Merchant-Ivory, I’ve brought a wide range of experiences to audiences: from the hardcore extremes of Gaspar Noé to the super-soft touch of fabric conditioner.

My work as creative lead / founder of FWS (ECD if you speak advertising) and Director of Trailers and Ads at Rockstar Gameshad me deep in the video game business for much of the past 20 years. The products are fun, the people are great and the creative freedom is brilliant.

We grew FWS from three partners in a Berwick Street back room into the leading video game creative shop globally. We helped define billion-dollar franchises including Grand Theft Auto, Assassin's Creed, The Division, and The Last of Us.

Along the way we picked up yellow pencilsand golden lions, bigger offices in London and another in Montreal. The agency was acquired by Keywords Studios to be the cornerstone of their new marketing division where it continues to grow.

Once upon a time I studied Artificial Intelligence at Edinburgh University. This was long before directing humans to act like AI characters on virtual sets; it's strange loops all the way down.

Born in Scotland, living in London, I'm most at home in an edit suite with some beautiful pictures to work with.
